Steep Falls Library Facts

Founded:
The Steep Falls Library building was built in 1916 and opened as a library in 1917. It was a gift of Henry Pierce, who left, in his will, the funds for the library to his hometown of Steep Falls.

Facilities:
The original library building was built in 1916 and was designed by the well known architect John Calvin Stevens. In 1925 an addition was built onto the library, and this addition became the Children's Room.
